It's Wednesday, 12th of November 2014. What's wrong with me?

Nothing, is the short answer. Normally people start food diaries when they start dieting or make changes to what they eat, or because they were asked to. Not so me; I just decided it's a good idea. Well, it didn't come out of nowhere--it's got to do with the changes I made almost two years ago, when I was about 90kg (14.17 stones) heavy and almost vomitted when getting a good look at myself in the mirror. And now, at 72kg (11.33 stones), I am told I'm looking well and often am asked how I did lose the weight. People expect me to say I went on a miracle diet or whatever they wish may work where you can eat as much as you like, sit still all day, and the pounds just drop. Sorry, if you're reading this in the hope of keeping your lazy arse firmly placed on the couch while shovelling take away and Coke into you, you may just click the little cross in the top right corner. This blog is not about dieting or preaching the way, it's about what I did to lose weight the healthy way while having bags of fun. And I'm still on my way to reach my target weight of 65kg (10.23 stones).
On this blog, I'll log what I'm eating and drinking over the day, and my activities. It's to show that you don't have to take the fun out of eating to get rid of the flab, that cooking doesn't have to be scary, and that moving your arse can indeed put a big grin on your face.
There will be anecdotes, moaning, gloating, pictures, and recipes--not to dictate, but to encourage. I believe in a simple formula: food intake + exercise = healthy weight. It works for me, so I assume it could work for others, too.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy what you read. If not, thanks for stopping by. :-)
